Leading Electrical Services Company Steps Up Fight Against Human Trafficking
LOS ANGELES, January 20, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Industry leader Southwest Industrial Electric has announced its participation in upcoming Human Trafficking Awareness Month by hosting a charity raffle with 100% of proceeds going to CAST LA.
- Intended as a call to action, the SIE HTA fundraising event opens on the 10and of January and runs until 31st. The tickets are $2, and prizes include free movie tickets and delicious treats from the Milk Bar. All proceeds will be donated to the Coalition for the Abolition of Slavery and the Trafficking, LA Chapter. One of the main resources in the fight against human trafficking.
- Southwest Industrial Electric will also leverage its social platforms and extensive network to educate the public about the issue and join the larger conversation with the community by participating in National #wearblueday, a day when everyone everyone can wear blue and post on their social platforms to show your support and raise awareness for the world’s second fastest growing form of organized crime.
- In support of the DHS blue campaign, on #wearblueday and throughout the month, SIE will join the conversation, hosting an Instagram live and creating various social explosions that educate the public on HTA facts such as what HTA is, who it affects, what to watch out for, and what we can do as a global community to combat the problem.
